He Went to the Hospital to Get His Broken Leg Treated, Then His Fluid Dropped From the Hospital Ceiling
The tragic story of Sandile Sibiya
Back in 2019, the unthinkable happened at a local hospital. It first began as a stench that came from one side of the hospital, which was deemed normal since many unanticipated events occur in a hospital. However, over time, the stench grew unbearable to the extent that it could be detected from miles away. In addition, “fluid dropping from the ceiling provided the tell-tale signs that something was amiss.”
To people’s amazement, the root of the stench was the dead body of Sandile Sibiya, a fifty-three-year-old patient who was awaiting treatment. And the questions that kept ringing in people’s heads were, how did a patient with a broken leg end up on the ceiling? Could it have been murder? And if it was, was the hospital responsible?
On May 10th, 2019, Sandile accidentally broke his right leg and made a trip to the doctor’s office. Sandile was a construction worker at a local Durban site in South Africa. When he got hurt at work, Sandile headed for Durban’s Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
