The tragic case of Conrad Roy
Conrad felt less confident about himself and his life in general. He wanted the feeling to stop.
So he told his girlfriend, Michelle, that he wanted to kill himself.
Michelle kept asking Conrad when he would finally do it from that point.
Michelle: When are you gonna do it? Stop ignoring the question…You can’t think about it, you just have to do it.
You said you were gonna do it. Like I don’t get why you aren’t.
Conrad: I don’t get it either. I don’t know.
Michelle: So I guess you aren’t gonna do it then. All that for nothing. I’m just confused. Like you were so ready and determined.
Conrad: I’m gonna eventually. I don’t know what I’m waiting for but I have everything lined up.
Michelle: …If you want it as bad as you say you, do it. It’s time to do it today. I don’t think you want to do it so you’re gonna have to prove me wrong.
Conrad: Yup no more waiting.
Michelle: …Okay. So you gonna do it?
Conrad:…I do want to but I’m just freaking out for my family I…
