The Daughter Began Eating Spiders and Flies and Licked Her Own Urine, and Then She Died of Starvation
The tragic case of Anneliese Michel
PS. Annelise’s real-life exorcism story inspired the movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
Anneliese was blacking out at school.
She convulsed and vomited. And she had spiritual attacks in her sleep.
Then, she began eating spiders and flies. Anneliese even licked her own urine from the floor.
ASCHAFFENBURG, West Germany, July 13 (AP): Two Roman Catholic priests were charged with negligent homicide in the death of Anneliese Michel. The German priests said they conducted the exorcism rites after four years of medical treatment failed to cure her epilepsy.
According to the NEW YORK TIMES, The priests performed sixty-seven exorcisms on Anneliese.
