It was a day meant for a family gathering.

The family of Janet and Richard Sweet visited the grandparents’ home. Upon arrival, there was a horrifying site of the house.

One of the windows was shattered.

And Richard and Janet lay in pools of blood on their couch. Half the side of their faces were blown away, with their brains hanging out.

Their family called 911.

Dispatcher: 911, what’s your emergency?

Caller: Hey, this is an emergency.

We noticed a window off the side, and one person went in and looked and discovered a body.

There is definitely a body inside and I noticed a gunshot went through the window.

Dispatcher: Okay. Do you know who it is?

Caller: Yes, I do. Janet and Richard Sweet.
