Judy made her way to her mother’s house in the afternoon.

She lifted the garage door to enter the house. What Judy found in the garage made her run to a neighbor’s house.

Judy called 911.

Dispatcher: 911. What’s your emergency?

Judy: Please send an ambulance and the police. My mother is laying in the garage and there’s a lot of blood. And there’s a blanket over her head.

Dispatcher: And how old is your mother?

Judy: She’s seventy eight.

Dispatcher: Is she breathing?

Judy: I don’t know. I can’t look. The blanket is over her head and I can’t look.
