The Two Women Best Friends Went on an Adventurous Hike; Then Their Dog Companion Returned Alone Home That Night
The mysterious case of Kris and Lisanne
Kris and Lisanne left their home in the Netherlands and traveled to Panama.
They stayed in Panama for a few days. And they took their host family’s dog for a hike near the Baru volcano.
But the dog returned home alone that night.
Kris and Lisanne were never seen again. And their remains were found a few months later.

Kris and Lisanne Traveled To Panama
On March 15th, 2014, twenty-one-year-old Kris Kremers and twenty-two-year-old Lisanne Froon left Amsterdam for Panama.
They wanted to explore the country, learn Spanish, and volunteer at local schools. So Kris and Lisanne spent two weeks touring the country.
Then they journeyed to their final destination Alto Boquete.
They were to meet with their host, Miriam Guerra. The two were to start volunteering at a local school in two days.
