Writer note: The manner in which the victim was brutally murdered and disposed of is angering. Mature audiences only.

It was in the early morning hours.

The police received a bone-chilling phone call from a concerned person telling them what she had discovered.

There was a headless body hanging from a bridge. Her body was badly bruised. Her arms were bent at odd angles.

Dispatcher: 911. Where is your emergency?

Caller: I’m on North 225 West Road. There’s a body hanging off the bridge with no head…that’s what I see with no head, I’m freaking out.

Dispatcher: Are you sure? … She thinks it’s a deer

Caller: No, it’s a body… it’s a body. I’ve never seen something like this.

Hope Was a Grandmother

Hope Ann Parks was a loving grandmother from Crawfordsville, Indiana, USA.

She was kind-hearted, sweet, and full of love. She married the love of her life, Michael Dale Parks, when the two were very young.

Hope and Michael stayed together for almost twenty-five years. And the couple had two children together, a son and a daughter.

Their daughter moved out, got married, and had two children.

Hope loved being a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and played with them whenever they visited her.

On the other hand, Hope and Michael’s son was quite the bad apple of the family. Consequently, there was a lot of fighting within the Parks household because of their son.

Their son still lived with them. He was on and off drugs. He couldn’t hold a job. And he didn’t contribute anything.

Michael wanted his son out of the house. But Hope wouldn’t have it.
