When The Daughter Saw Smoke Coming From Her Mother’s Basement, It Was Her Mother’s Body Burning
The tragic case of Susan Hernandez
Katrina walked inside her mother’s house.
The house was full of smoke. There were flames in the basement, hinting at where the smoke originated from.
Then Katrina called the police.
Operator: Police Department, can I help you?
Katrina: Yes, there’s a fire at my mother’s house.
Operator: What’s burning?
Katrina: The house is full of smoke. I cannot find my mother….She might be in the basement …Mom!
Operator: Katrina, I want you to get out of the house.
Katrina: Okay. Mother! Mom! Mom! I cannot leave. I’ll be okay. Oh my God! It’s my mom that’s on fire! Oh my God my mom’s on fire!
